Experience Improv is a class that will help you learn to take chances, explore, and have fun with our theatre professionals as they guide you through games and exercises designed to build confidence and encourage you to trust your creative impulses.

Saturdays 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
Fall Term – September 7th 2024 – November 30th 2024

One Act Wonders provides students with the opportunity to perform in a one-act play.  Students will work with our Director to learn how to audition, rehearse and perform as part of an ensemble that takes a play from the page to the stage. You do not need any previous theatre experience, but this program does build on skills introduced in the StorySTAGE Preshow program, and is a good stepping stone to the Persephone Theatre Young Company.  Our student production will be held in our BackStage Theatre.

Fall Session –  September 10th 2024 – November 26th 2024

FUNdamentals 2 is a theatre skills development class focusing on improvisation but also incorporating scene work and short scripts in various genres to be presented at the end of the session.   Students are introduced to Stagecraft and gain an understanding of the various production roles in theatre. This is a continuation of skills introduced in FUNdamentals 1, but can also be taken as a stand alone class.
