Based on the hit DreamWorks Animation film, How to Train Your Dragon JR. brings fire-breathing action, epic adventure and big laughs to the stage. Hiccup is a young Viking who defies tradition and befriends one of his deadliest foes – a ferocious dragon he calls Toothless. Together, the unlikely heroes fight against the odds to save both their worlds in this wonderful theatrical adaptation. Dragons will be created with puppets and actors will work on puppeteering along with singing, movement, and acting.

Term One: September 15 – December 15, 2026
Term Two: January 5 – April 24, 2027

Students should wear comfy clothing they can easily move in, have indoor shoes, and bring a water bottle, a pencil and/or a highlighter for scripts.

For ages 13-14, this program costs $405.00/term for two terms, totaling $810.00.
For ages 15-18, this program costs $449.55/term for two terms, totaling $899.10.
The payment for Term Two will be due by January 1, 2027.

How to Train Your Dragon JR. will be performed in our BackStage Stage on April 23 and 24, 2027. Tickets for performances will be available at a cost of $10.00 each and will go on sale in February 2027.

Finding Nemo KIDS brings the story of Marlin, an anxious clownfish, and his adventurous son Nemo to the stage in a condensed, kid-friendly format. The musical follows Nemo’s capture and Marlin’s epic journey across the ocean to rescue him, featuring beloved characters like Dory, Crush the Sea Turtle, and the Tank Gang. The story emphasizes family, friendship, courage, and perseverance while keeping the content suitable for young audiences and performers. This is a two term class.

Term One: September 15 – December 15, 2026
Term Two: January 5 – April 18, 2027

This haunting folk opera by Anais Mitchell delivers a defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Participants in this 3 week intensive program will be part of a tale that follows two intertwining stories of devotion that take us to the underworld and back. Music is inspired by folk and New Orleans Jazz in a tale that pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love. Hadestown earned 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical in 2019. There will be four fully produced performances on our mainstage July 25-26, 2026.

No experience is necessary and all registered participants are cast in the show. We will host an audition information session prior to casting auditions.

Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, with drop-off beginning at 8:30 a.m. Students should bring a lunch, snacks, indoor shoes, a water bottle, and wear comfy clothing they can move in. They should also be prepared to have FUN!

Be part of the team that designs the original look for our Musical Academy production of Hadestown Teen! Costumes, set, and props are an important element in any production. In this 3 week program, you will learn from our design professionals about how to take your ideas and implement them as part of our show. You will also have an opportunity to be part of the stage crew, integrally involved in each and every one of the four fully produced shows on our mainstage on July 25-26, 2026.

This new musical revue features songs from our favourite family friendly musicals including Shrek, Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, and Frozen! Working with our theatre professionals, participants in this 1 week program will work on movement, voice and characters and be part of several numbers and original narrations. Students will perform in the final production on our mainstage on August 22, 2026.
