With this new program, students have an opportunity to learn and experience first hand, the behind the scenes magic of a show. Working with a costume, set designer and director, students will analyze a script and then generate ideas to support the artistic vision of Beetlejuice Jr which is being presented as our Summer Musical Acadamy production. Students will then work to realize their ideas and incorporate them into the show.  This program includes prop, costume and set work.  Enrolment is limited to six placements to ensure students receive one on one mentoring.

Students will be part of the production of Beetlejuice Jr and should be available for the performances July 19th and 20th.

Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetle…You don’t have to say it three times to get in on all the fun in this zany musical adaptation as the ghost-with-the-most comes to life in this original musical based on Tim Burton’s wonderfully frantic film. Beetlejuice Jr tells the story of Lydia Deetz, an unusual teen obsessed with the whole “being dead thing”. A recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes, haunt Lydia’s new house. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away the humans in her world, he comes up with a plan involving haunted hijinks and amazing music!

Students 9 to 19 can join us for this musical training program that culminates in a mainstage production with four shows, July 19th and 20th.  All registered students are cast in the production and will experience musical theatre with our amazing creative team.

Join us for this Easter break program that celebrates the music of Wicked the Musical, and the Wizard of Oz.  Working with our theatre professionals, students will use songs and characters from these popular shows to create a unique musical theatre revue with story, music and movement.
Experience is not necessary!

Three age groups:

5 to 7 years of age
8 to 10 years of age
11 to 14 years of age

Camp runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm – with drop offs beginning at 8:30 am.

Students should wear comfortable clothing, with indoor shoes or socks and bring a water bottle, snacks and lunch.

The camp will end with a revue style show in the Backstage Theatre on April 25th at 3:30 pm.

Join us for this high energy musical theatre program.  Students will participate in an original MINI Musical featuring fun, age appropriate songs that will be shared with family and friends at the end of the program.

Wednesdays – 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Winter Session – January 8 to April 2 2025

Be part of our Musical Academy presentation of Disney’s Descendants!  Travel to Auradon to find out what happens when young prince Ben offers a chance at redemption to the offspring of several classic villains.  With fun music, delightful characters and the opportunity to experience musical theatre with our professional team of instructors, this is the perfect learning opportunity for student performers.  This show will be performed in Persephone’s BackStage theatre, April 5th and 6th.

For students 15 and up, we are required to charge GST and PST .

This is a full year program.  Please register for the fall session and then your student  will be automatically registered for the winter program.
